Homeless Shelter Macon GA, Domestic Violence | Macon Rescue Mission

Thank you for your interest in giving your time to the Macon Rescue Mission. Our greatest volunteer need consists of hosting a Volunteer Drive. There are two types of drives you can coordinate:

1. Daily Supplies Drive – We depend on donations to stay stocked on everyday items for our residents, such as:

• Non-perishable food items – canned vegetables, canned fruits, canned meat, peanut butter, rice, sugar, flour, salt, pepper, etc.
• Diapers, baby wipes
• Hygiene items (toothbrushes, shampoos, soaps, etc)
• Wash cloths and towels
• Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues
• Pine sol, bleach, other cleaning supplies
• Laundry detergent

2. Bargain Center Drive- Donation drives for our Bargain Center Thrift Shop (Napier Ave) are always needed! These household items provide valuable income allowing us to fill our shelves and share the love of Christ. Items such as furniture, appliances, glassware, books, and clothing are welcome.

Instructions:

• Select which drive you would like to conduct.
• Ask you church, organizations, friends or family to donate items.
• Contact us to arrange a tour of the Mission and a drop-off time for your donations.
