The girls from the First United Methodist Church of Americus youth group came to visit the Mission on Saturday, May 4th. They conducted a church-wide drive for diapers, wipes, and toiletry items for the Macon Rescue Mission and Dove Center. Volunteers served lunch and put together hygiene kits that will aid the residents.
We were honored to have the Sports Moms Impact Tour come to the Mission yesterday. The tour is hosted by the I Think I Am Foundation with mothers of professional football and basketball players.
