Our Bargain Center

A bargain or thrift store has played a vital role in the Macon Rescue Mission’s history. There have been several locations. Our current location was built in 2004 and is located on at 3375 Napier Avenue adjacent to the Log Cabin Drive intersection.

Our Bargain Center has three important roles in our Mission’s programs:

• Provides a much needed revenue source for our entire operation.
• Provides a viable resource for us to help the less fortunate with desperately needed essentials in case-by-case emergency situations.
• Provides opportunities for our residents to participate in a retail work environment.

Our Bargain Center's inventory is completely stocked by our community's donations of "unneeded" or extra household items. Our stock includes everything you can imagine:

If you have ANY no-longer-needed items that could be beneficial to us, we can use them at our Bargain Center. Large items like washers, dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators are always welcome, even if they do not work. We may be able to fix and sell them. At the very least we can sell them for scrap metal. We also accept donations of automobiles, boats and trailers. All items donated may be "T-O-T-A-L-L-Y" Tax Deductible!

We also specialize in Garage/Yard Sales! If you, your church or any organization holds a garage or yard sale, we can schedule a pick up for what is left over that you don't want to store. Call us!
