The Macon Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization providing residential programs and services to those facing homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and poverty. We seek to provide a path to recovery through Jesus Christ and exemplify His love in our community.
The purpose of Macon Rescue Mission is to give free assistance to those in need while sharing the love of Christ. It is our call to get as many off the streets and out of dangerous situations as we can accommodate. We help them recover and become independent, productive members of the community.
Men’s Division—Residential program for homeless men.
Dove Center—Residential program for female victims of domestic violence and their children.
Community Outreach—We provide food boxes to the elderly and disabled, diapers and hygiene kits to those in need, and Christmas gifts to needy families. We also hold several free meals and events for the homeless and impoverished throughout the year.
The Mission does not require compliance to any religious doctrine to receive assistance and is not a church or denomination. The Mission is an interdenominational and interchurch organization.
Your support sustains the Mission. Established in 1952, the Mission is homegrown and has stayed local. We are not a government agency and have no national headquarters—we depend on the generosity of our community.
Your gifts of prayer, time, items, and financial support will help meet the needs of those suffering where you live and work. We are so thankful for every gift!
